The Firm represents clients in respect of all matters relating to judicial review before the Court of Appeal including various prerogative writ applications. The Firm also regularly acts in fundamental rights applications before the Supreme Court. Our lawyers have wide experience in handling such matters and many of them have postgraduate qualifications in Administrative and Constitutional Law and have lectured on these subjects to students at both undergraduate and post graduate levels and have been examiners in these subjects for undergraduate and postgraduate degrees at the University of Colombo and the Sri Lanka Law College.
We have represented several clients particularly in the manufacturing sector with regard to challenging decisions in respect of licensing quotas and other administrative actions. We have also appeared before several administrative tribunals to assist our clients in obtaining redress in respect of decisions made by officials such as the Consumer Affairs Authority, Inland Revenue and Excise Commissions.
